BALATONSAX MASTERCLASS Concert of Teachers and Participants

This is the third BalatonSAX International Summer Saxophone Academy on the shore of the lake and for the first time, clarinetists, under the guidance of famous professors, have also been invited.  Besides Bence Szepesi, the Hungarian clarinetist who was extremely well received in New York, the greatest names include Yehuda Gilad, one of the most sought after professors from Los Angeles, Milan Rericha, teacher of the Swiss Lugano Conservatory and owner of the Czech RZ clarinet factory, Paul Cohen, in his capacities as soloist, orchestral and chamber musicians, one of the most important sax players today, David Brutti, the winner of more than a dozen international competitions, and Marcus Holzer, known among others for several exceptional recordings he made as a member of the Vienna Saxophonic Orchestra. In the eight days of the Academy, participants have the benefit of deepening their knowledge at inspiring lectures, workshops and individual classes. The big traditional closing concert brings to the stage masters and disciples alike, with the two groups of instruments heard both separately and together.
